A Russian mine has been found again on the Odesa coastline. Military sailors promptly neutralized it with a controlled detonation. People are urged to be cautious: such findings are deadly dangerous. This was reported on Saturday, July 19, by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The mine exploded on the coast. The Navy of the Armed Forces states that a controlled detonation of the mine was carried out in the coastal waters. The explosive device was disposed of without risk to the civilian population. 'Mines are a weapon that does not distinguish between civilian and military. We urge everyone: do not approach suspicious items in the water or on land. Do not ignore warning signs and immediately report discoveries to the relevant authorities,' the Navy urges. It should be noted that sea mines, which the enemy widely deployed at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, still pose a threat to anyone near the water. They can be washed ashore anywhere along the coastline. Emergency service contacts: - Medical assistance: 103 - Patrol service: 102 - Communal assistance: 15-01 We remind you that the issue of mines in the sea remains urgent for the Odesa coastline. Specifically, explosive items pose a greater threat during storms. Additionally, it should be noted that there is still a ban on visiting unverified areas of the coastline in the Odesa region due to the threat of mine danger.
