U.S. President Donald Trump expressed limited optimism regarding negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, but noted that it's Time to act.
Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that negotiations between Ukraine and Russia 'are going well,' but require concrete results.
The U.S. President believes that relations between Ukraine and Russia can improve and that everyone will know about it soon. He also noted that it's time to act or remain silent and believes that everything is going well.
Earlier, Trump expressed his frustration with Russia and urged it to accelerate the agreement. His envoy held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the Ukrainian settlement.
Alongside the negotiations, Trump speaks of the possibility of imposing sanctions on countries that purchase Russian oil if Moscow does not hurry to finalize an agreement with the U.S.
It is also worth mentioning that Trump plans to finalize at least 90 agreements within three months.
