The eggs 'Kvочка' have risen in price by 11 hryvnias in just a month: what's happening.


In March of this year, various prices for chicken eggs are observed in Ukrainian supermarkets. The largest price fluctuations are seen in the eggs of the 'Yasensvit' brand, while the 'Kvочка' eggs have a stable price.
MinFin's information shows that a dozen 'Kvочка' category C1 eggs costs on average 72.10 UAH, particularly in the 'Auchan' chain.
Prices for category C1 eggs from 'Yasensvit' vary. The average price is 68.76 UAH, but in different stores it can differ significantly. The lowest price is 65.90 UAH in 'Auchan', in 'Novus' the price is 68.09 UAH, while in 'Megamarket' it is 72.30 UAH.
Larger packages of 'Yasensvit' eggs (C1, 18 pieces) also have different prices. The average cost is 120.93 UAH. 'Auchan' and 'Metro' offer the same price - 119.90 UAH, while 'Novus' sells this product for 123.00 UAH.
The largest package of 'Yasensvit' eggs (C1, 30 pieces) costs on average 206.60 UAH. 'Metro' offers these eggs for 199.90 UAH, while 'Megamarket' sells them for 213.30 UAH.
Compared to the average monthly prices in February, a dozen 'Kvочка' eggs (C1) cost 60.97 UAH. 'Yasensvit' (C1, 10 pieces) had a price of 66.62 UAH, the package of 18 pieces cost 120.27 UAH, and the 30 pieces cost 200.79 UAH.
Therefore, consumers should carefully compare prices in different supermarkets to find the best offer, especially for 'Yasensvit' eggs.
Previously, 'dangerous' fruits were named, which are better not to buy in spring.
