Bloomberg: What conditions will Putin propose in exchange for agreeing to a ceasefire.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is prolonging negotiations for a ceasefire with Ukraine, demanding that his conditions be taken into account. The Kremlin considers the framework conditions of the agreement 'unacceptable'. Additionally, Russia may demand the cessation of arms supplies to Ukraine as a condition for the ceasefire.
Expert Tatyana Stanovaya emphasized that if Putin does take certain steps towards a ceasefire, it will be temporary and with strict conditions.
Previously, Russia demanded that Ukraine become a neutral state and reduce its armed forces. The United States, in turn, agreed to lift the freeze on military aid and intelligence information for Ukraine.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that American officials will negotiate with Russia this week and did not rule out a phone conversation with Putin. According to Bloomberg, U.S. envoy Steve Biegun is set to meet with Putin in Moscow.
