Brazilian-Ukrainian Space Program: Ukrainian Ambassador Assessed Chances for Revival.

Ukraine was disappointed by Brazil's termination of the "Cyclone-4" space complex agreement and its withdrawal from the project. According to the Ukrainian ambassador in Brazil, Andriy Melnyk, this decision negatively affected the relations between the two countries. He also noted that Ukraine invested a lot of money into this project.
However, the revival of the Brazilian-Ukrainian space program is unlikely. The ambassador noted that the joint construction of a spaceport in Brazil never became a true story, and its revival is currently excluded. Instead, Ukraine is looking for new points of cooperation in the space field with Brazil.
The ambassador also mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin faces arrest if he attends the G-20 summit in Brazil in 2024. Additionally, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva received an invitation from Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Ukraine, but has not yet responded to the proposal.
Ukraine is also actively collaborating with the Chinese expert community on the issues of Brazil's space program, but the ambassador refrained from commenting on Brazil's contribution to this process.
