Up to 75 hryvnias: supermarkets have set new prices for sunflower oil, buckwheat, potatoes, and cabbage.


According to the Minfin portal, prices for basic food products in Ukraine rose in mid-December. We analyzed the change in the cost of the basic food basket in the largest retail chains in Ukraine, focusing on sunflower oil, buckwheat, potatoes, and cabbage.
According to the data, the price of 'Oлейна' sunflower oil (850 ml) has slightly decreased. The average price is 64.22 UAH, compared to 64.87 UAH in November. However, 'Щедрий Дар' oil has become more expensive - up to 74.23 UAH from 68.41 UAH in November.
The cost of a kilogram of buckwheat has also increased - in December it amounts to 33.02 UAH, which is 1.73 UAH more than the November price.
The price of potatoes changed slightly - from 31.67 UAH to 32.70 UAH per kilogram. Young potatoes became more expensive - from 39.90 UAH to 44.40 UAH. Pink potatoes have practically not changed in price - it decreased from 35.17 UAH to 35.00 UAH per kilogram.
The cost of young cabbage has decreased, but white cabbage has become more expensive.
Earlier, the price changes for potatoes and tomatoes in December were already reflected.
