The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, expressed a desire to organize a meeting of the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, and the USA in Turkey after the second round of negotiations in Istanbul.
«I want to meet with the President of Russia, Putin, the President of Ukraine, Zelensky, and the President of the USA, Trump, in Istanbul or Ankara», — noted Erdogan, according to the Turkish publication Daily Sabah.
Erdogan highly appreciated the results of the negotiations, emphasizing that «the meeting of the delegations of Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul went wonderfully». He also noted that «even with yesterday's incident, the very fact of holding the meeting is an important success».
Agreements on the release of prisoners of war
