The European Union has allocated a financial assistance package to Ukraine amounting to 2.3 billion euros for the purpose of reconstruction. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced this during the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome. As part of this package, 1.8 billion euros will be allocated in the form of credit guarantees, while another 580 million euros will be provided as grants. These funds will be directed through various financial institutions to attract investments in different sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The financing is aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises, investing in the private sector, modernizing infrastructure, and stabilizing the energy system. Overall, the EU's commitments under the Ukraine Investment Framework have risen to 5.7 billion euros, contributing to attracting over 18 billion euros in investments to Ukraine. Ukraine will receive a substantial financial stimulus for the reconstruction and development of various sectors of the economy thanks to the European Union's assistance package. This demonstrates solidarity and support from Europe in the process of rebuilding the country.
