Dynamo player ranked among the best young footballers in Europe.


Taras Mykhavko is on the shortlist for the prestigious 'Golden Boy' award, which is given annually to the best young footballer in Europe under the age of 21. In the first selection stage, 19-year-old Mykhavko ranked 37th.
It should be noted that Mykhavko outperformed several well-known young talents, including AC Milan player Alex Jimenez, FC Barcelona's Hector Fort, Endrick from Real Madrid, and other promising footballers.
Ukrainian Cup Final: Shakhtar's Victory
On Wednesday, May 14, in the final match of the Ukrainian Football Cup, Donetsk's Shakhtar faced Kyiv's Dynamo. The first to score was Andriy Yarmolenko in the 43rd minute. In the 64th minute, Kauan Elias equalized with a goal after an assist from Alisson Santana. The game went into overtime, but neither team scored during extra Time. The Donetsk team defeated Dynamo in the penalty shootout (6:5), while the decisive penalty was missed by Oleksandr Karavaiev.
Ukrainian Cup Semi-Finals
In the semi-final match, Shakhtar defeated Polissya. In the second semi-final, Dynamo defeated Bukovyna. Initially, in the 23rd minute, Bukovyna player Boychuk opened the scoring after a mistake by Dynamo's Brazhko. However, Dynamo managed to turn the situation around in the second half. A double by Voloshyn, along with goals from Shaparenko and Brazhko (penalty) secured a 4:1 victory for the team.
Taras Mykhavko is now among the contenders for the 'Golden Boy' award, and Shakhtar triumphed in the final of the Ukrainian Cup by defeating Dynamo. The semi-finals also featured interesting events that heightened interest in football in Ukraine.
