The Israeli army carried out strikes on sites in Lebanon used by Hezbollah for the production of strategic weapons. Terrorists planning an attack in the Gaza Strip were also eliminated. This is reported by Glavkom, citing the Telegram channel of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
It is noted that the attacks targeted the infrastructure in the Bekaa region of Lebanon, where Hezbollah produced and stored weapons.
Furthermore, on March 13, Israeli troops identified several terrorists operating near Israeli forces in the central part of the Gaza Strip who were attempting to plant explosive devices.
IDF aircraft struck the terrorists
It should be noted that the Israeli army also attacked military facilities in southern Syria, including weapon depots that posed a threat. This is reported by Glavkom, citing the official Telegram channel of the IDF.
According to military information, strikes were made on command centers and other military facilities where weapons were stored.
The presence of military forces in southern Syria poses a threat to the safety of Israeli citizens. The Israel Defense Forces will continue to take measures to eliminate any threat
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the strikes and noted that they were a response to the growing threat in the region. He emphasized that Israel will not allow southern Syria to become like southern Lebanon.
