Contract 18-24 expands to 10 more brigades.


10 combat brigades have signed a contract under the 'Contract 18-24' program
10 combat brigades have joined the 'Contract 18-24' program, which provides for the signing of contracts for young people aged 18 to 24. This information was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the data from the General Staff, the following brigades have been added to the list of combat brigades that can join the program:
- 25th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade named after Sicheslav;
- 80th Separate Assault Brigade named after Halytska;
- 3rd Separate Assault Brigade;
- 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel;
- 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade 'Cold Yar';
- 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky;
- 128th Separate Transcarpathian Mountain Assault Brigade;
- 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi;
- 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the 30th Marine Corps;
- 59th Separate Assault Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk.
Among other things, the 'Contract 18-24' program has also covered units of the National Guard 'Azov' and the 'Charter' brigade.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine previously explained the procedure for joining military service under the '18-24' contract.
It is worth noting that the main requirements for contract soldiers are to be of legal age, medical and professional-psychological eligibility for military service, and the absence of criminal records.
