Where to next: Prices for milk, butter and cheese in Ukraine have risen again.


Milk prices have risen again
According to the Minfin portal, prices for dairy products continue to rise in March this year. This especially applies to butter and cheese, which are an important component of many families' diets.
According to price monitoring for March 2025, the cost of basic dairy products continues to rise compared to February this year.
For example, the price of 'Selyanske' butter with 72.5% fat (200 g) has increased to 117.25 UAH, which is 2.18 UAH more than in February. The average price for it in Auchan is 113.90 UAH, while in Megamarket it is 119.40 UAH.
'Yagotynske' butter with 73% fat (200 g) has also become more expensive, with an average price of 110.45 UAH compared to February's 104.95 UAH, which means an increase of 5.50 UAH.
Prices have also increased for cheese. For example, 'Prostokvashino' cheese with 9% fat (300 g) now costs an average of 93.35 UAH, which is 7.50 UAH more than in February. Its lowest price can be found at Novus - 90.99 UAH.
Milk has also become more expensive. 'Yagotynske' 2.6% has increased in price from 50.49 to 56.33 UAH for 900 ml, but 'Prostonashe' 1% has decreased in price - from 49.38 UAH to 47.53 UAH for 900 ml.
This is not the first price increase for products, prices for cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers have already risen before.
