Manievska won bronze at the European Weightlifting Championship.


Ukrainian weightlifter Anastasia Manievska became the bronze medalist at the European Weightlifting Championship. In the weight category up to 87 kg, she placed fifth in the snatch, recording a result of 105 kg, and finished fourth in the clean and jerk with her 130 kg. Manievska's total weight lifted amounts to 235 kg.
Ukraine won seven medals at this European Weightlifting Championship. Olga Ivzhenko (gold), Dmytro Kondratiuk, Svitlana Moskvyina and Iryna Dombrovska (silver), as well as Anastasia Manievska, Svitlana Moskvyina and Olga Ivzhenko (bronze) were recognized.
It should be noted that Svitlana Moskvyina also became a medalist of this championship. In the weight category up to 64 kg, she competed in group A and won a small silver in the snatch with her 100 kg. In the clean and jerk, the Ukrainian recorded 121 kg and placed seventh. Overall, her total in the two competitions is 221 kg, which earned her a bronze medal.
In total, the Ukrainian national team boasts seven awards at this championship, emphasizing the high quality of Ukrainian weightlifting.
