Major Floods in Spain: Death Toll Rises (photo).

158 people have died as a result of floods in Spain, in the southern and eastern parts of the country. This was reported by AP.
“Today, rescuers searched for the bodies of the deceased in stranded cars and flooded buildings due to the horrific sudden flood in Spain, which claimed at least 158 lives,” the article states.
In the most affected region of Valencia, at least 155 people died. There are also reports of missing persons, but their exact number is currently unknown.
According to local authorities, there are no longer people trapped on rooftops or in cars. In particular, about 70 people were rescued by helicopters.
It is worth recalling that Bosnia and Herzegovina was also hit by floods. The municipality of Jablanica was most affected, where 16 people died. Three more bodies were found in the city of Foynica. Heavy rains, which began on Friday night, caused flooding in several cities in the central and southern parts of the country, destroying houses and outbuildings.
By the way, global warming causes the emergence of heavy rains, hurricanes, and as a result, changes the climate.
