Mobilization with Beating in Mykolaiv - State Bureau of Investigations Opened a Case.


A video has spread on social networks showing how military recruitment center workers in Mykolaiv beat a man on the street. Law enforcement has already opened a case and is investigating the circumstances of the conflict.
State Bureau of Investigations Started an Inspection
The State Bureau of Investigations is determining the circumstances of the possible abuse of power by employees of the Shipbuilding Military Recruitment Center in Mykolaiv. According to preliminary data, during mobilization activities, the center's employees may have used force against a conscript aged man who is wanted. The pre-trial investigation is still ongoing.
A Case Has Been Opened
Law enforcement has opened a criminal proceeding under Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official authority by a military official that led to serious consequences). The penalty for this article provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment.
