Storks rescued from the trap of a water tower
In a village in the Chernihiv region, two storks found themselves in a difficult situation after getting trapped in an abandoned water tower. Fortunately, rescuers from the State Emergency Service saved the birds by freeing them and returning them to freedom. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' citing the State Emergency Service of Chernihiv region.
«Now the storks are again under the sky! Rescuers save lives every day. Not only of people – but also of those who cannot call for help,» emphasized the State Emergency Service.
It is also worth noting that on February 18, rescuers saved a dog that fell through the ice at the Sobache Hyrlo bay in the Obolon district of Kyiv. The animal got scared of a swan, fled from the shore, and fell through the thin ice. Fortunately, divers from the State Emergency Service came to the rescue and saved it.
Recently, on the night of April 22, rescuers in Sumy region heard a puppy whimpering among the rubble during reconnaissance after an airstrike on the Bilopillia community. They found the animal that needed help and promptly provided it with the necessary assistance.
The efforts and professionalism of the rescuers in Chernihiv and Kyiv once again proved how important their role is in rescue operations and in saving not only human lives but also the animal world.
