The Pension Fund clarified the conditions for making voluntary pension contributions for Ukrainians abroad.

A Ukrainian woman, who will turn 60 in six months, contacted the Pension Fund with a question about the possibility of making voluntary pension contributions while abroad. It turns out that for Ukrainians living abroad, there is such an opportunity, but it is important to have the appropriate identification data and not to be receiving a pension at the Time of making the contributions.
Ukrainians living abroad can voluntarily make pension contributions to replenish their pension account. This opportunity is available to everyone without exception, but it is important to have identification data in the register of insured persons. It is also necessary not to be a pensioner at the time of making contributions.
The size and regularity of contributions are left to the citizen's choice to take into account their financial capabilities. To credit a full month to the pension record, the amount of the voluntary contribution must be at least 22% of the minimum wage, which is 1760 UAH out of 8000 UAH.
For those who pay their pension contributions themselves, there is an opportunity to influence the size of their future pension. The minimum amount for calculations is 1760 UAH. Thus, everyone can choose the optimal amount of contribution and later enjoy more comfortable payments.
