The South of Ukraine Under Intensified Fire: Occupants Have Activated Shelling and Assaults.


Defense forces in the south reported that Russian occupation troops have significantly increased their shelling activity on the southern front.
According to the spokesperson for the defense forces in the south, Vladislav Voloshin, the enemy is most active in the Hulyaipil direction.
'The enemy is most active in the Hulyaipil direction, trying to break through to the settlement of Privílne. They attempted to seize our positions, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to hold the defense and even counterattack to restore one of the destroyed positions,' - reported the spokesperson.
There is also fierce competition ongoing in the Orikhiv direction, noted Voloshin. He informed that the occupants are conducting fewer assault operations in this area as they are regrouping and rotating.
'The enemy is moving their special assault group supplies to the forward positions, preparing to return to active actions and attempting to break through our defense line, which runs in the area of Malі Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepovoy, Lobkovy. The enemy continues to try to break through and capture a foothold there,' - stated Voloshin.
Additionally, the occupants do not cease attempts to control the entire island zone at the mouth of the Dnieper.
'The enemy is using bad weather conditions and is intensifying its actions in this direction. They carry out 3-4 assault operations there daily; two such operations were recorded over the past day,' - said the spokesperson.
