Polish farmers prepare to completely close the border with Ukraine.

Farmers from Poland have currently suspended their protest action at the border with Ukraine, but warn that they are ready to resume it in December on an even larger scale if their demands are not met. This was reported by Roman Kondrov, one of the leaders of the protesters.
During the negotiations, agreements were reached that the farmers must send their demands to the Ministry of Agriculture by November 26, and Minister Sekersky promised to provide a response by December 10.
“These demands cannot be satisfied immediately. They require the adoption of a number of regulatory decisions, so a schedule for task execution with specific deadlines will be developed,” the minister clarified.
Farmers hope that the Polish government and parliament will oppose the free trade agreement between the European Union and South American countries.
“We are suspending the protest, but we are not abandoning it. If the agreements are not fulfilled, we will return with a larger action along the entire eastern border of Poland,” emphasized Kondrov.
Currently, traffic at the border is proceeding normally.
