Air Forces will inform about alerts in Viber.

The Ukrainian Air Force is looking for alternative channels to inform about air threats, as the future of Telegram in the country is uncertain. This was stated by the head of the public relations service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat.
Currently, the Air Forces use Telegram and WhatsApp to inform the population about air threats. However, given the restrictions on the use of Telegram in Ukraine, the military is working on communication through other platforms.
«The Ministry of Digital Transformation stated that Viber is safe and not under the control of the Russian side», - wrote Ihnat.
Starting from November 19 of this year, the military will also begin to inform about air dangers in Viber, in addition to Telegram and WhatsApp.
It is worth reminding that on September 19, during a meeting of the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity, it was decided to restrict the use of Telegram in government agencies, military formations, and critical infrastructure facilities.
