A racket used by Rafael Nadal during the 2017 Roland Garros tournament was sold at auction for a record amount of $157,000. The tennis player won his 10th title at this tournament without losing a single set. The racket features the 'Rafa' emblem and a sticker that says 'RG 2017 Nadal'.
The custom-made racket has the 'Rafa' emblem on the handle and a sticker from 'Roland Garros' 2017 that reads 'RG 2017 Nadal'.
This is the second racket of Nadal's that has been sold for a record price at auction. The first racket was from the final match of the Australian Open 2022, where Nadal defeated Medvedev.
Alcaraz's victory at Roland Garros
There was also talk about the victory of the Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz in the final at the 'Roland Garros' tournament against Jannik Sinner in a dramatic match. Alcaraz became a five-Time major champion, having won five major tournaments already.
