Today, July 12, Russian ships have been withdrawn from the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, but remain in the Mediterranean. One of them is a carrier of Kalibr missiles. This was reported on Saturday, July 12, by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

No missile carriers have been recorded in the Black and Azov Seas. However, three Russian combat units are still in the Mediterranean Sea. One of the ships is a carrier of cruise missiles 'Kalibr', capable of launching up to four units.

Movement through the Kerch Strait

At the same Time, Russia continues to actively use the Kerch Strait. Over the past day, 8 vessels have passed towards the Black Sea, of which 5 went further to the Bosporus. In the opposite direction towards the Azov Sea, 7 vessels were moving, including two that arrived from the Bosporus Strait.

Military officials emphasize that Russia has once again violated the international Convention on the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), turning off the automatic identification systems (AIS) on its ships. This creates a danger for civil navigation and is a gross violation of international maritime law.
