Repression in the Russian Federation - searching for 'prohibited' music will become a crime.

Members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation propose to punish not only for the distribution of 'prohibited' content, that is, content that the Kremlin dislikes. The new idea is to punish Russians for the very act of searching for such content.
This was reported by Russian media.
Searching for information is already a crime in Russia
The Russian State Duma proposes to seriously intensify the fight against dissent.
Previously, the authorities included a whole bunch of content, including music, which is neutral or oppositional to the Kremlin, in the register of 'extremist materials.'
In the new draft law, State Duma deputies propose to punish not only for this content but even for its search.
What Putin's regime wants to fine people for
The draft law proposed by Putin's henchmen aims to turn the very process of searching the Internet for 'prohibited' content into a crime.
Thus, searching for music by artists such as Oxxxymiron or Timur Mutsuraev may fall under this draft law.
Of course, searching for video recordings of performances by the assassinated opposition figure Alexei Navalny will also become a crime.
Moreover, the draft law states that even searching for the prohibited Instagram social network in Russia will also be punishable.
For now, the punishment for these 'crimes' is proposed to be only fines.
Recall that we previously reported that a Russian woman was sentenced for the truth about the occupiers.
Additionally, we reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to establish a digital bondage for foreigners.
The presented message reflects a trend towards increased censorship and control over free access to information in Russia. Members of the State Duma propose to punish citizens for the very act of searching for 'prohibited' content online, which may pose a threat to freedom of speech and human rights.Read also
