Russia aims to get closer to Sumy: ISW analysts assess its chances.


In the north of Sumy region, furious Russian troops are moving, trying to expand their positions and shorten the front line in several directions. Media outlets are anxiously reporting on their actions and warning of a possible shelling of the city by artillery.
“Recently, Russian troops have positioned themselves north of Andriivka and northeast of Yablunivka. The occupiers seem to be preparing for artillery shelling of the city of Sumy,” - representatives of the media reported.
By spreading their influence in the directions of Andriivka and Yunakivka, Russian troops have engaged in combat with Ukrainian forces. Analysts point to the active mobilization of Russian forces for a possible offensive on Sumy.
