Russia has modernized its ballistics: Ukrainians have been informed why rocket attacks have become more dangerous.

Russia has modernized ballistic missiles for attacks on Ukraine
According to information from 'Chvilia', it has been established that the ballistic missiles used by Russia for attacks on Ukraine have been modernized.
During a telethon, the head of the communication department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, reported this. He emphasized that this step has complicated the operation of Patriot systems that are typically used to intercept ballistic missiles.
'This information we have from our partners that the enemy has indeed improved the missiles that fly ballistically, 'Iskander-M'. It concerns firing radar traps that can engage any missile during targeting,' said Ihnat.
Ihnat explained that the efficiency of the Patriot system, which is capable of intercepting targets, can be affected after the modernization. He also noted that the new type of quasi-ballistic trajectories complicates the prediction of missile interception points, which may pose problems for air defense systems.
'These factors complicate the process of intercepting ballistic missiles and the operation of air defense systems, but do not make it impossible. I believe that our partners are working to ensure that these solutions are improved for the benefit of the system,' he added.
We remind that Russia previously carried out an attack on Kyiv using drones and missiles.
The modernization and complication of ballistic missiles may have serious consequences for Ukraine's defense system. The new capabilities of Russian missiles could potentially complicate the operation of systems designed to protect against such attacks. This will require the military and developers of air defense systems to come up with new strategies and solutions for effective defense of the country.
