Russian troops attacked two hospitals in Sumy region

On the night of March 18-19, Russian military forces attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Sumy region. This was reported by the Sumy OVA.

The first attack occurred around one o'clock at night, when a Russian drone crashed onto the roof of the Krasnopillia hospital. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Currently, rescue services are clearing the drone crash site and carrying out evacuation measures for the patients and staff of the hospital. The incident is still under investigation.

In the evening of March 18, a Russian drone hit the roof of the regional clinical hospital. There are no casualties from the attack, however, damage is still being assessed.

At the same Time, Russian terrorists struck Kyiv region, resulting in the destruction of some houses and injuries to one person.

The victim of the attack in the Bucha district is a 60-year-old man who sustained injuries to both legs. He is in the hospital under the supervision of medical staff.

In addition, five houses in three settlements of the region sustained damages or were completely destroyed. Fires in two townhouses have been extinguished.

Fires in the grass cover in Obukhiv and Fastiv districts have been liquidated. However, one private house in Boryspil district was damaged.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the night attack by Russia in Sumy and the ongoing strikes in Donetsk region. He emphasized that such attacks cause damage to energy infrastructures and disrupt the normal life of Ukrainians.

Zelensky urged the international community to prevent Putin from dragging out the war and to reject any attempts at mediation. The President believes that pressure on Russia should continue to achieve peace in Ukraine.
