In the Kherson area, Russian troops carried out shelling in a residential area, during which a shell hit a house and took the lives of two women. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, on October 14, at approximately 18:50, enemy forces shelled a residential area in Kherson. As a result of a direct hit by a shell in the house, two women died.
It is noted that a pre-trial investigation has already been launched in a criminal case regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Recall that on October 9, Russian occupiers launched artillery strikes on a geriatric center in Stepankivka, Kherson district. As a result of enemy shelling, medical personnel were injured.
It is also worth noting that from October 15, a curfew is being introduced in the Kherson region, which will last from 20:00 to 06:00. This decision was made at a meeting of the Kherson Regional Defense Council. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, explained that this decision is related to the shortening of daylight hours and the safety of citizens.
