Syrskyi announced priorities for April for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi published the results of the Armed Forces' work in March and formulated the main tasks for the army. This is reported by 'Glavkom', citing Oleksandr Syrskyi.
According to him, the main task is to hold the defense lines and stabilize the situation in dangerous directions of the front. In March, successes were achieved in the Pokrovsk direction.
«Due to the managerial decisions made and the resilience of Ukrainian warriors, it was partially possible to accomplish this task, in particular, in the Pokrovsk direction. Here, in the operational zone of the Joint Forces Operation 'Donetsk', the enemy concentrates its main offensive efforts, but actually gets stuck in place,» - noted Syrskyi.
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, at the same Time, our warriors are conducting active defense wherever possible. On certain sections of the front, there is advancement, improving operational dispositions, restoring various positions, and holding significant enemy forces.
Since the beginning of March, the artillery of the Defense Forces has carried out about 100 thousand shots, drone operators - over 81.7 thousand combat special missions, including 158 strikes with DeepStrike capabilities.
«During the meeting, I listened to reports from the heads of military management bodies regarding problematic issues – the formation of units and restoration of their combat readiness, the creation of new army corps, logistics, and repair of military equipment, etc. I defined tasks for April,» - reported Syrskyi.
Syrskyi emphasized the need to increase the number of drones on fiber optics, which will be resistant to enemy EW means. He also formulated tasks for the formation of combat brigades with personnel. He stressed the need to improve the quality of training, as the lives of warriors depend on it.
In particular, the UAV training course has been updated. Its duration is now 1.5 months. A mandatory adaptive period for newcomers in combat brigades has been introduced.
«I specifically emphasized the problems of development and set the task to maximize the combat capabilities of the brigades. Another important issue among those highlighted is the maintenance and preparation of weapons for operation in spring-summer conditions, enhancing protection of various types of military equipment against FPV drones and optimal use of the capabilities of the equipment,» - said Syrskyi.
We recall that during the night and morning, the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with attack drones on Kharkiv. This caused fires and casualties. It is noted that Russian UAVs hit a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv district - fires broke out in production and warehouse facilities with a total area of over 3900 sq.m.
