Oleksandr Syrskiy, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the situation at the front, emphasizing that Ukraine holds over 90 square kilometers of territory in the Kursk region, noting that this is a response to a possible enemy offensive.According to Syrskiy, the enemy's offensive actions have been successfully halted at some fronts, where the situation was managed and even moved forward by 500 meters in some directions. One of the directions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's actions this year is the attacks on targets deep in the rear of Russia, which have resulted in significant material losses. The strikes have caused serious damages both directly and indirectly due to the shutdown of enterprises and disruption of logistics. It is also important to work on new defense methods, particularly in the fields of drones and fortifications. Ukraine is actively developing drone projects with fiber-optic control and successfully using long-range weapons to enhance efficiency in opposition. In particular, there is currently a rich base of drone manufacturers with a range of up to 20 kilometers, which gives Ukraine an advantage in this area. The importance of maintaining transparency and legality in the work of the TCU and mobilization, implementing new projects, and acquiring modern aircraft to enhance the efficiency of responding to potential threats is also emphasized.
