Thousands of Ukrainians after re-examination received unexpected status.


The Ministry of Defense reported the results of medical conclusions regarding the fitness of citizens for military service. It turned out that only 7% of those who were initially recognized as 'partially fit' turned out to be unfit. Another 6-7% were fully fit, while the rest have the opportunity to serve in other units.
It is important to note that all those who received the status of 'partially fit' by a certain date must undergo a medical commission again before a specific deadline this year.
The spokesperson of the department also emphasized that the category of 'partially fit' has been canceled.

According to the Ministry of Defense, only a very small portion of individuals who initially had the status of 'partially fit' are truly unable to be assigned to the army. Most of them are suitable for service in other units. It is also important to timely undergo a repeated medical examination for the relevant groups of citizens.
