In 2025, Russia will deport Ukrainian displaced persons – human rights activist.

The director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Security, Pavlo Lisyansky, stated that people who do not legalize themselves in Russia by March 1 will be deported. He also mentioned that the visa-free regime for displaced persons from occupied territories has been cancelled, and if they do not obtain a Russian passport or any other document, they will be deported.
According to Lisyansky, the Kremlin is taking punitive measures against Ukrainians both in Ukraine and abroad. He also noted that the occupiers are taking forceful actions against people accused of crimes against the Russian regime or army.
The head of the 'Servant of the People' party, Olena Shulyak, expressed her opinion that the government is not coping with the policy of supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs). She pointed out that the state mortgage program is unavailable to IDPs, and only a few individuals have taken advantage of it.
