Rescuers managed to pull the body of the deceased from the rubble of the destroyed building in Lutsk. According to the State Emergency Service, the number of injured as a result of the night Russian attack stands at 27. Emergency workers are actively working on clearing the rubble, as there is a threat that there may be people in need of help.
Rescuers from Rivne region, municipal enterprises, and other institutions are working at the scene. A 'Resilience Point' has also opened, where people can rest and charge their phones. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and Red Cross volunteers are providing support to the victims.
The majority of the damage was sustained by the high-rise residential building and the 'Motor' hotel, where part of the Ukrainian athletics team was located. Although the athletes remained unharmed, their rooms were damaged. Witnesses are spreading photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack on social media.
In Lutsk, rescuers continue to clear the rubble of the destroyed building and provide assistance to those affected after the night Russian attack, which resulted in casualties.
