In the upcoming season, five teams from Spain will play in the Champions League.

After Lazio's defeat in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, Spain secured an additional place in the Champions League for the next season.

According to UEFA coefficients, Spain ranks second with 23.250 points, while Italy is third with 21.187 points and cannot change its position, regardless of the further results of Inter and Fiorentina.

In the current season, Barcelona, Athletic, and Betis reached the semifinals of the European cups.

As for the last two semifinalists of the Champions League, Real Madrid lost to Arsenal in the return leg with a score of 1:2, which allowed the Londoners to advance. Also, Inter Milan drew with Bayern Munich 2:2 and reached the semifinals with an aggregate score of 4:3 over two matches.

The semifinal pairings of the Champions League:

• Arsenal - Paris Saint-Germain
• Inter Milan - Barcelona

The first semifinal matches will take place on April 29 and 30, 2025, while the return matches will be held on May 6 and 7, 2025. The Champions League final is scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
