Putin unexpectedly refused to talk to Trump.

The Kremlin denies information about a phone conversation between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump after the latter's victory in the US presidential election. This was stated by Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
It should be noted that the Washington Post reported on such a conversation, during which Trump urged Putin not to escalate the situation in Ukraine and reminded of the presence of American troops in Europe. Issues of peace in Europe and a quick resolution of the war in Ukraine were also discussed.
Georgiy Tikhyy, a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, refuted this information, stating that Kyiv was not informed in advance about such a conversation.
Putin's press secretary called these reports untrue and fiction, stating that there was no conversation between Putin and Trump.
In addition, Peskov noted that Moscow observes the nervousness and fear in Europe related to Trump's election as US president.
Among Peskov's statements was also the remark that Russia continues its "special operation" until all goals are achieved, while Europe continues to supply weapons to Ukraine to prolong the conflict.
Earlier, it was reported that Putin signed a "partnership" agreement with North Korea.
