Specifically, the inner yellow circle represents the radius of the fireball, where everything evaporates due to extreme heat reaching millions of degrees Celsius. The radius is approximately 4.1 square km.
The inner gray circle indicates a smaller damage radius. It will cover 175 square km and cause destruction of buildings and possibly large fires.
The wide orange circle represents the radius of thermal radiation (about 546 square km): any person in this area risks third-degree burns over their entire skin, which may lead to severe scarring, disability, and the need for amputation.
The wide gray circle indicates the radius of light injury from the explosion (1385 square km from the blast site). Additionally, broken glass is expected, which may cause injuries.
According to the publication, about 1,374,840 people will die in Moscow and 3,747,220 will be injured. In Pyongyang, 1,327,820 will die and 1,105,660 will be injured. In Beijing, 1,548,460 people will die, and about 3,332,190 will be injured.
