Ukraine has completed the repatriation of the deceased under the Istanbul agreements.

Ukraine has successfully completed the process of repatriating 1245 deceased persons under the agreements made in Istanbul. This was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of law enforcement and experts. Currently, the expertise and identification of the bodies belonging to Ukrainian citizens, according to the Russian side, is underway.
At the same Time,
The Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence has revealed a possible information-psychological operation by Russia aimed at discrediting Ukraine and provoking outrage within Ukrainian society. Moscow's plan is to disseminate narratives about the supposed unwillingness of the Ukrainian authorities to return the bodies of deceased military and civilians.
The completion of the repatriation of the deceased under the Istanbul agreements is an important event for Ukraine, as it allows the return of citizens' bodies to their homeland and ensures a dignified burial, thus closing this significant chapter for the families of the deceased. However, new challenges arise due to possible information-psychological actions from Russia, which biases the reaction of Ukrainian society to this event.
