Ukraine secured a spot in the elite division of the Women's Nations League in football.


The Ukrainian women's national football team achieved a significant victory over Albania on May 30, allowing them to guarantee first place in the group. Now the team has the opportunity to elevate their level and move to League A, reports the publication 'Glavkom'.
In previous matches, the Ukrainian team had already won against Albania, Croatia, and the Czech Republic, as well as drew with the Czech Republic. This success allowed the team to confidently lead the group and continue competing in the tournament. In the match against Albania, the Ukrainian players initially conceded a goal but managed to restore balance and ultimately score the winning goal.
Basanska outplayed Ovdiichuk, received a pass at the corner of the penalty area, and precisely shot under the far post – 2:1.
In the final of the Ukrainian Football Cup, 'Shakhtar' defeated 'Dynamo' in a penalty shootout. Yarmolenko scored the first goal, but the 'miners' managed to equalize and prevail after the penalty shootout.
The Donetsk team won against 'Dynamo' in a penalty shootout (6:5), the winning penalty was scored by Oleksandr Karavaev.
