Ukrainians in Poland were explained what penalties threaten for non-payment of utility bills.

In Poland, not paying utility bills can have serious consequences. Companies send warnings and impose penalties if bills remain unpaid. In case of debt accumulation, companies may resort to legal actions, leading to the freezing of bank accounts or salaries. Even arrest and sale of the debtor's property is possible. The proceeds are used to cover unpaid amounts. Therefore, it is extremely important not to ignore payments and, if necessary, negotiate restructuring to avoid problems and fines.
According to industry experts, the key for Polish consumers is to be proactive and communicate with utility providers if they are experiencing financial difficulties. By doing so, they can potentially avoid the most severe consequences and work on a solution that preserves their access to essential services.
