Ukrainian mobile subscribers will become 'one of their own' in Europe: what will change as early as 2026.


The European Commission has announced its intention to integrate Ukraine into the European Union's roaming zone starting in 2026. The proposal was published by the European Commission on its official Twitter account, reports 'Khvylia'.
'The Ukrainian signal is gaining EU citizenship. We propose to integrate Ukraine into the EU roaming zone starting in January 2026,' said the European Commission in its statement.
This initiative means that Ukrainians will be able to make calls, send text messages, and use mobile data from Ukrainian numbers in all 27 EU countries at domestic prices and without additional roaming charges.

The news indicates that Ukraine may be integrated into the European Union's roaming zone starting in 2026. This will mean that Ukrainians can use their mobile numbers in all EU countries at domestic rates, without paying extra money for roaming.
