Important changes for subsidy recipients: what will be considered in your income.

Changes in the calculation of social assistance in Ukraine
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided on changes to the procedure for calculating the average monthly total family income for the appointment of state social assistance. This information has been provided on the official Telegram channel of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to decision No. 303 of March 18, 2025, changes have been made to the calculation of the average monthly total family income for all types of state social assistance. This document affects the calculation of assistance related to housing payments and the purchase of fuel and gas.
According to the changes made, the housing rental subsidy is no longer included in the average monthly total family income. Instead, alimony received in cash is now included in the average monthly total family income.
It is also specified that when calculating the housing subsidy, the monetary provision for military personnel is taken into account after the military tax is paid.
Allowance for pensioners over 80 years old
Single pensioners over 80 years old can receive a special care allowance of approximately 1000 hryvnias. To receive this allowance, one must meet certain criteria, such as requiring constant external care for health reasons, living alone, and receiving an old-age pension.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine also provided important clarifications regarding the preservation of insurance experience without interruption. This is of great importance for future pension payments to citizens of the country.
