The Threat from Transnistria — Is Ukraine Ready?.

In the self-proclaimed Transnistria, a small but important military contingent of the Russian Federation is located. This was reported by the representative of the Operational Command 'South', Vladyslav Voloshyn, during a live broadcast on Den.LIVE. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are always ready to respond to any threats from Transnistria.
Transnistrian Direction
According to Voloshyn, the Transnistrian direction is quite dangerous for Ukraine due to the presence of Russian troops in Transnistria. He also noted that Russia could use the territory of Moldova it controls for provocations at any moment.
'There is a certain number of troops, a certain amount of weapons and equipment. Even if there was only one person with a weapon, it would still pose a threat to Ukraine. Therefore, we keep a certain number of forces and means to effectively prevent any provocations,' Voloshyn emphasized.
The spokesperson also noted that the current number of Ukrainian troops on the border is sufficient to deter any threats from this direction. Recently, there have been reports of attacks by Russian troops in southern Ukraine, as well as Moldova's measures to intercept Russian drones and missiles.
In the Transnistria region, Russian troops are located, which could pose a threat to Ukraine due to possible provocations and pressure from Russia. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have appropriate measures to prevent any threats and provocations from the Transnistrian direction.
