Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a 'Shahed' factory in Tatarstan at a distance of over 1000 km, - General Staff.


The units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' reconnaissance and strike drone systems successfully attacked a factory producing strike drones in the Russian Federation on April 23, 2025, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The target was an object in the Yelabuga district of the Republic of Tatarstan, located at a record distance of 1054 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine. The enterprise produced drones of the 'Geran-2', 'Shahed', and other strike UAVs with a production capacity of about 300 units per day.
According to military information, hits and explosions in the target area have been confirmed. Currently, it is known that the assembly shop of the drones was damaged, but the assessment of the damage is still being clarified.
'This strike is a just response from Ukraine to the Russian strategic military facility used to support Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and terror against civilians in Ukraine,' the General Staff emphasized.
The Ukrainian command thanked the servicemen for the accuracy of the combat mission execution.
