A Kyiv resident identified as Oleksandra and persuaded border guards that he has felt like a woman since childhood.


Border guards discovered a man with forged documents
At the 'Uhryniv' border crossing with Poland, border guards from Lviv region detained a man who tried to leave the country with forged documents. According to information from the State Border Guard Service, the man attempted to pass control presenting a passport in the name of a woman. However, the border guards detected signs of forgery and found out that the man was representing himself under a woman's name.
Within minutes, it became known that 22-year-old Andriy from Kyiv was trying to cross the border, hiding behind the female identity of Oleksandra. According to the man, he has felt like a woman since childhood, but the border guards did not believe his stories.
It also became known that Andriy had been living with his wife in a standard family life until he decided to divorce before the trip abroad. The border guards found the man's ex-wife among the passengers of the bus he was on.
The border guards notified the police about the discovery of forged documents and handed the man over to the police. He returned to Ukraine.
At this Time, the police are clarifying all the circumstances of the situation and are to investigate this case as a criminal offense under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding forgery of documents.
